Does anyone have some good tips for how to actually vet a source before pulling the trigger on a purchase?

Honestly the regain issue is real regardless of how you lost the weight in the first place - I was over 200lbs at 20, worked out consistently for 6 years and got thin, then when life got busy at 26 and healthy food wasn't accessible at my job, I put on 60lbs in under a year. Now I'm 29, sitting at 250lbs, and was just diagnosed with insulin resistant PCOS, which honestly may have been there all along but my active lifestyle kept it in check. At this point I'm open to getting a little help because the hard truth is that the moment life disrupts your routine, the weight comes back no matter how you lost it - and I've lived that firsthand.

Honestly, just go with Reta — it's the clear winner here.

Honestly it's not worth skipping — all it takes is one contaminated vial to ruin you for a while.

This has actually come up quite a bit — worth doing a search through on the web and you'll find a ton of discussion on it.

Honestly, it's not surprising there's been no weight loss at such low doses. All the clinical trials started at 2mg, and by the 3-month mark participants were up to 3-4mg with significant weight loss to show for it. Going at a snail's pace with the "start at 0.25mg and go slow" crowd has basically meant 3 months of spinning your wheels with nothing to show for it.

Honestly I'd push back a little on jumping straight to a higher dose — storage issues are a real possibility like calmelk20 said, but it's also worth remembering that reta and tirz work pretty differently mechanically, so a direct potency comparison isn't always apples to apples. A lot of people find the adaptation period on reta takes longer than expected before appetite suppression really kicks in. In my own experience I noticed things shifted noticeably around weeks 6-8, which I wasn't expecting after coming from tirz. Might be worth giving it more time before assuming the dose needs to go up.
