Honestly this feels more like fear mongering than a "dark truth" because there are so many variables at play here. People regaining weight almost always comes down to returning to old habits rather than the drug itself — if you genuinely change your lifestyle, that's much less likely to happen. Ozempic also isn't as new as people act like it is, it's just getting media attention now. And a huge part of the problem is healthy-weight people abusing it when it was designed for those with diabetes or insulin resistance — that's going to skew the negative outcomes data significantly.
