I came across some actual lab-tested degradation data that genuinely shifted how I think about storing reconstituted peptides, and I figured it was worth sharing here.
The testing was done by an independent group through a chemical analysis lab, tracking degradation at 30, 60, 90, and 120 days post-reconstitution. A few things genuinely surprised me:
Some compounds held up remarkably well for months when kept refrigerated — way more stable than I would have guessed. Others fell off faster than I expected. Even Hospira bacteriostatic water was included in the testing, and while there was measurable change over time, it wasn't as dramatic as you might fear — provided you refrigerate it after opening.
The biggest thing this hammered home for me is that there's no single storage rule that applies across the board. Treating every reconstituted peptide the same way in the fridge is a real mistake if you're trying to preserve potency.
What I appreciated most was seeing actual percentages from a controlled lab setting rather than forum speculation or the usual bro-science passed around. If you're reconstituting anything and just assuming it's holding up fine for months, this data is worth a close look.

Something feels off about this data to me. Any properly designed experiment would include replicates at each time point along with some kind of statistical analysis showing variance - what's presented here is just a bunch of scattered values with no clear trend and zero indication that the results are reproducible. On top of that, there's no explanation whatsoever of how the assays were actually conducted.

Without knowing who ran this experiment, what sample sizes were used, storage conditions, vial types, fridge temps, preservatives, or literally any other relevant variable, this data is meaningless. It's missing everything that would make it a credible study, and honestly it reads more like an ad designed to push people toward branded products than actual science. Take it with a massive grain of salt.
