They handle everything — reconstitution, syringes, alcohol swabs, the whole setup. The downside is the cost is pretty steep and the location is about an hour away from me each way.

There's a woman at my gym who sells peptides at a noticeably lower price, and since I see her three times a week it would obviously be way more convenient to go that route. But before I make any moves I want to do my due diligence and make sure what she's selling is actually legitimate and properly sourced.

What should I be asking her, or asking to see, to feel reasonably confident in the product? Are there specific documentation, lab reports, or other indicators I should look for? Appreciate any guidance from people who've navigated this before.

The gray market is still out there but navigating it is genuinely annoying. If budget isn't a concern, there are solid US-based companies with legit COAs and fast shipping, but you'll pay for that convenience. Really just comes down to what you're willing to deal with.

The main difference is just the fancy packaging and a COA from a domestic lab slapped on it.

COAs are just a sample of a batch and even reputable places can under or overfill, so at minimum you want to see testing across several markers - purity, endotoxins, HPLC, etc. Personally I lean toward US-based manufacturers with registered facilities because they have more to lose legally and are held to higher standards, even if it costs an extra $20-50 per vial. At the end of the day you're making injections into your research subject, so it's worth doing a real risk/reward analysis - and remember you can always send vials out for independent testing.
